Staying in touch with survivors of childhood cancer for a better future

The Long Term Follow-Up Center (LTFC) was established at the University of Southern California by the Children’s Oncology Group (COG) to stay in touch with survivors of childhood cancer.

The Children’s Oncology Group (COG) is an international research organization that conducts clinical trials for children, adolescents and young adults with cancer. More than 200 hospitals in North America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe are members of COG.

The purpose of the COG’s Long Term Follow-Up Center is to stay in touch with people who had cancer as children and participated in Children’s Oncology Group research studies.

By staying in touch, we hope to better understand how you are doing after cancer.

Long term follow-up studies with childhood cancer survivors will help improve the treatment of children with cancer in the future.
